SHOUTCASTERS RULES AND GUIDELINES

1. Be respectful and professional (1 warning)

2. Do not be biased towards any teams or members. I'll review if that is suspected (removed after first offence)

3. You're not allowed to shoutcast a match for teams you're registered under.

4. The only people that are allowed to shoutcast are members that have the shoutcast role. (a team could suffer a loss upon further investigation)

All shoutcasters must abide by these conditions. Shoutcasters are here to live stream and provide good commentary for our viewers. Shoutcasters will also act as referees, meaning they have the authority to write team members for removal in the match if they have proof of major lagging and using map glitches. If suspected of using modifications Shoutcasters are required to write the Admin and the footage will be reviewed asap.

PAID TOURNAMENT RULES

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

By signing up for the paid tournament you are acknowledging and agreeing to all of the rules listed below.  Please consider the fact that there is a high level of competition between teams.  Please consider differences in time zones between task forces when scheduling matches.  Task force captains must communicate and agree on match dates and times.   Please contact an Admin by email with questions regarding paid tournaments.

Payments

  • Each task force must be pre-paid in order secure a spot in the paid tournament.  .
  • Full Refunds will be given if the Tournament is cancelled for any reason.
  • If a task force has to back out of the tournament, they are required to contact an Admin at least one week prior to their scheduled match in order to receive a refund.

Scheduling/Matches

Only the task force captains must sign up for leagues within the given sign up dates.  Any changes that are made to the task force roster before league start must be confirmed by an Admin.  Late admissions are only accepted upon an Admins approval.

  • Task forces can find weekly match information about their opponent, map, and weather settings for each week on the Match Scheduling page.
  • Task forces have up to one week to complete each match.  Each week will begin on a Sunday and end on that following Friday.  If task force captains are not able to agree on a date and time, the match must be played on Saturday as a default.  There are 3 times that are available on Saturday, 2:00pm EST, 6:00pm EST, 10:00pm EST.  The Host will choose to ban the first time, the Visitor will choose to ban the second time, and the third time is what the match must be played on.
  • It is the responsibility of opposing task force captains to decide on a date and time that works for their task force members. Once match times are confirmed, captains must confirm the date and time in the discord.
  • If one of the participating task forces is not available to play at their scheduled time that is confirmed in discord, they will receive 0 points and the opposing task force will receive 20 points. (Both teams will receive a 15 minute grace period)
  • If a member of a task force is not ready to play at their scheduled time, the remaining members must begin the match with the players that they have available.  The member that was late, or any substitutions may re-enter the match at any time.
  • If a member of a task force disconnects from the game during a match for any reason, the match will continue and they are able to re-enter the match at any time.  The disconnected player, or substitutes are the only members that may re-enter the match following a disconnection.
  • During a match, each task force is allowed up to five minutes between each map.  If a member of either task force is not ready when the five minutes is up, the round will begin without them.  The member can re-enter the match at any time.
  • If an issue occurs and a member of either task force is lagging to the point that it affects game play, immediately notify the shout-caster about the issue.  If the match has no shout-caster, record the incident or note on your stream when it happens.  When the match is over, contact an Admin and instruct both task forces to wait to proceed.  If an Admin deems the lagging player to be disruptive to game play, it may result in the member being removed, and the round in question being re-played.
  • Cheating in any way is prohibited and will result in disqualification of the task force and removal of the member in question.  Prohibited cheating methods include but are not limited to:

                        - Any modification that alters game play

                        - Hip shot dot (Red Dot)

                        - Purposely lagging

                        - Console modifications

                        - Streamwatching

  • If an issue occurs and you have proof that a member of either task force is cheating, please contact an Admin privately and as soon as possible.

  • Each 4v4 Tournament match will follow the same guidelines:
    1. Best of 3 maps.
    2. Each map is played best of 5 rounds.
    3. Every round is 8 minutes long.
    4. The first 2 maps are chosen at random by an Admin using map randomizer.
